In this workshop style class, Bless will break down the actions of common yoga poses focusing on proper alignment and foundations of the postures. She will teach you how to flow in a safe and informed way that will deepen your practice and understanding of your body. As the series progresses, so will the poses. Bless will incorporate deeper, more challenging variations, inversions and arm balances.
Come with an eagerness to learn and a humble spirit. Bring your questions and a list of poses that you are excited to learn more about!
Bless brings a wealth of practical knowledge to her teaching which focuses on intelligent, creative sequencing, postural alignment, good tunes and the breath. She includes the use of props, modifications, verbal adjustments and demonstrations to create an accessible class where new students feel empowered and returning students feel challenged. Bless invites you to step into the present, to connect deeply, to explore and to play!
Bless is a Yoga Alliance registered E-RYT 200 instructor, trained in Anusara Yoga with Chris Chavez, Vinyasa Yoga with Clara Roberts-Oss, and Alignment Yoga with Sean Haleen.
Off the mat Bless is inspired by words, flavours and creativity and loves to create herself. Being in nature, gardening, thrift store hunting, traveling and exploring other places and cultures keeps her excited to be alive!
