Pranayama: A Six Week Sadhana


In this six week program, students will begin each class with asanas to prepare the body and mind for supine and seated pranayama breathing. Basic techniques will be taught. The quiet inward practice of pranayama is both energising and meditative. Students should have some experience in yoga asana before enrolling in the session.

Dates: October 28, November 4, 11, 18, 25, December 2

Time: 8:00 to 9:30am

Cost: Full six week Sadhana, $120, drop-in fee, $24

Linda Shevloff is a long time yoga practitioner and a senior certified Iyengar Yoga teacher. She has taught for many years in both Canada and Hong Kong. In Hong Kong she founded and ran the Iyengar Yoga Centre of Hong Kong. She now lives in Vancouver where has resumed active participation in the Canadian Iyengar community.
