Practice with a beautiful community to align with one’s highest potential and find authentic connection. From beginners to advanced practitioners - all are welcome.
A New Opportunity to connect and practice starting Thursday, May 17 to June 14.
This series will include an Arkaya yoga session as well as celebration & practice for the upcoming International Yoga Day on June 16th with Kirtan - led by Yogacharini Maitreyi, the founder of Arkaya Yoga.
Yogacharini Maitreyi is originally from India and comes from a rich tradition of using the body as a vehicle and channel of divine dhwani or sounds. That is why the Arkaya session before kirtan will be the perfect practice to open the lungs and enliven the body.
Chanting and singing harmonious vibrations shifts the disharmony within. This therefore creates harmony without. Maitreyi also encourages people to take space from the busyness to chant and integrate these uplifting vibrations where joy . love and play blossoms. Much time and energy is saved which could otherwise be wasted in dysfunctional habits or relationships. Further drama and trauma is prevented and ease flows.
When she is in Vancouver, Maitreyi facilitates the Arkaya Teacher Training - a Self-awareness, Self discovery and Self-realisation program. This incorporates all aspects of the traditional Yoga and Tantra in a relaxed modern context.
