When Amy Ives, a longtime student and Yoga on 7th’s Family Yoga teacher, went to work at The PACE Program, we were delighted.
PACE is that most valuable of initiatives, a program that provides timely and comprehensive help for young children and their families when they first need it.
Many of its clients are children aged three to six who have been asked to leave their pre-school or kindergarten due to behaviour issues, or who are in foster care.
PACE intervention includes an intensive family program, therapy for children, outreach support to childcare centres and support for families when children move from foster care to another home.
The families PACE helps can be young single parents, refugee families, grandparents who are raising their grandchildren, and low-income parents
At holiday time, Pace gives the families in its programs gift cards to allow them the pleasure of shopping themselves for food, household items, clothing and toys, and special treats.
We want to help. We’re accepting donations for PACE for the rest of November and early December.
Join us for one or all of these four special events, by donation, all proceeds to PACE:
